Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Aroostook is soliciting proposals (bids) for internal renovations for a dispatch center at the Sheriff’s Office Building, 25 School Street, Houlton, Maine. Bids shall include all labor, materials and equipment. 1. Provide and furnish all necessary labor and materials in connection with the remodeling of office space for the purpose of a New Law Enforcement Dispatch Center and office space on the first floor of the Sheriff’s Office Building, 25 School Street, Houlton Maine. a. For general project description, the existing Dispatch Center is on the East side of the Sheriff’s Office Building and will be relocated to a New Dispatch Center on the West side of the same building. Both locations are on the first floor of the building. a. The existing “Old” Dispatch Center will remain fully operational during this project. b. A specific “Cutover Date” shall be selected after the construction of the New Dispatch Center is completed to bring the New Dispatch Center Live and decommission the Old Dispatch Center. c. After the Old Dispatch Center is decommissioned, this space shall be renovated into general office space. i. To clarify, this project shall have two (2) phases. 1. Phase I - New Dispatch, 2. Phase II - Old Dispatch. b. Provide any and all subcontract work, as needed. (e.g.: electricians, plumbers, etc.) c. Contractor shall coordinate project with “other vendors” outside of the subcontractor aspect of these specifications, including but not limited to: a. Radio Communications Management, Inc. (RCM) for but not limited to: i. Radio towers. ii. Radio communication equipment. 1. Dispatch rack relocation. 2. Computers, UPS five (5) new, etc.
