Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District (hereinafter also KPBSD or District), invites the submission of Bids to provide Frozen Food Products to the District; Federal Regulations require the District to have nutritional information on file for each food product served. Upon award, vendor(s) shall provide nutritional information per serving for each item awarded to them. All food products must be securely packaged, wrapped or cartoned. The vehicles used for transport must be covered and not used for any other use other than to transport finished food products. Damaged goods or pallets piled unreasonably high will not be accepted. Glass containers will not be accepted. Hamburger Bun, 51% Whole Grain, Baked, Sliced. One bun must provide 2 oz equivalent grains to meet Child Nutrition Meal Pattern Requirements. Dinner Rolls, Baked, Whole Grain. Each roll must provide 1 oz equivalent grains to meet Child Nutrition Meal Pattern Requirements. Mini Garlic Toast, 51% Whole Grain, Brown & Serve, One piece must provide 1 oz equizalent grains to meet Child Nutrition Meal Pattern Requirements.
