Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is requesting proposals for the provision of Rest Area Janitorial Maintenance Services for District 1, District 2, and District 6 rest areas along Interstate 80. There will be three contracts awarded, one per each district. The contractor shall provide the appropriate equipment, parts, tools, transportation, consumable items, cleaning supplies and materials, management, and supervision of required or essential personnel necessary to ensure effective completion of all work and services as specified in this RFP. All work shall be performed in a professional manner and in the best interests of maintaining clean presentable facilities and grounds. Contractor shall be responsible for providing minor repairs and maintenance services associated with the facilities, water supply, and heating systems to effectively maintain and operate the rest areas as designated by NDOT.
