Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide Psychological Training and Consulting Services to the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA), Anchorage Police Department (APD). Initial Assessment/ In-Person visit; Travel Costs for In-Person visit, will include airfare, lodging, per diem, and transportations/baggage fees; Educational-Training the Trainer; Consultation Services; To have an American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) Police and Public Safety psychologist or their trained staff conduct Train-the-Trainer courses at the Anchorage Police Department and ongoing consulting services. The purpose of this work will be but not limited to: • Providing an on-site in-person assessment of the current work environment at APD to help develop and/or enhance the current Wellbeing Program. • Providing ongoing monthly consultation services to the Peer Support Coordinator, Wellbeing Coordinator, Wellbeing Committee, Command Staff and others at the APD to implement and/or maintain the Wellbeing Program. • Provide Train-the-Trainer courses to key employees at the APD so they can provide training to all staff on some or all of the following topics: vicarious trauma, marriage/relationships distress, substance use, community relationships, communication/de-escalation skills, problem-solving in the family, depression/suicide, physical/emotional/financial health, peer relationships, family stress, sleep problems, anger management, child rearing, emotional management, cognitive bias, healthy lifestyles, bad habits/pathological temptations, developing and maintaining healthy relationships etc.. • Provide consultation regarding outcoming monitoring of the APD Wellbeing program.
