The Forest Service in Petersburg Ranger District of the Tongass National Forest intends to award one (1) contract for the rehabilitation of approximately 0.6 miles of stream corridor and the adjoining floodplain on East Ohmer Creek, North and South Forks of Lumpy Creek (tributaries to East Ohmer), and a small portion of Donahue Creek at the Man-Made Hole Recreation Area. This project involves sourcing and hauling whole trees including rootwads to designated staging areas, clearing vegetation on designated access routes, constructing log structures to restore fish habitat, and site cleanup. The Contractor will be required to utilize equipment of a certain size and type to gain access and minimize excessive soil disturbance. All work shall be performed in accordance with this statement of work, and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract.
