Specifications include, but are not limited to: REQUIREMENTS - OVERHEAD DOOR SERVICES 3.1 Awarded Vendor shall perform work according to the City of Lincoln Standard Specifications. 3.2 Vendor shall be responsible for acquiring and paying for all permits, fees and licenses associated with the work to be done according to the Unit Price Quote Sheet. 3.3 Vendor shall repair and or replace Commercial and Residential Overhead Doors on an “as needed” basis. The Vendor shall provide service to the Owners during regular business hours and/or on call emergency after hours and weekends (24/7) of unforeseen services and repairs. 3.3.1 Vendors shall verify acceptance in the Attribute section if they are willing to be available for these emergency services.. 3.4 Vendor shall have parts inventory and capabilities to repair all overhead door repair and replacement service request by the Owners. 3.5 Vendor shall use materials that are identical to existing materials. 3.5.1 If identical materials are not available or cannot be used where exposed surfaces are involved, use materials that match existing adjacent surfaces to the fullest extent possible with regard to visual effect. 3.6 All products must be new and genuine, free from defects in content and materials, provided as per the manufacturer’s required, sold or manufactured via legal and reputable channels, and not misbranded. 3.7 All materials and labor provided by the Vendor shall have a manufacturer’s warranty and a workmanship warranty. 3.8 Typical work includes repairs to tracks, rollers, cables, springs, electronic control and operators, repair or replacement of doors and door sections, middle of night calls for Fire Department overhead doors being stuck, etc. 3.9 Details of service not explicitly stated in these specifications but necessarily attendant thereto, is deemed understood by the Vendor.
