Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Dover requests proposalsfrom qualified, Delaware licensed General Contractor, to provide the following services: to construct a new recreational community building, spray pad, and associated site improvements. This new facility is a one-story 2,619 SF community building. The project includes a multipurpose room with craft alcove, furniture storage and movable partition. The building has separate women’s and men’s toilet rooms, administrative offices, mechanical room, and a pump room and chemical storage room to support the exterior spray pad facility. Site work includes proposed building utility connections, storm water drainage system, fencing, landscaping, hardscaping, and an interactive spray pad play area. Site furnishings include tables, shade canopy, and bike racks. Site materials include concrete pavers, asphalt and concrete paving, fencing and various site furnishings. The building is constructed of wood framing and joists, wood decking and wood studs. Exterior building finishes include (but may not be limited to) unit masonry and asphalt shingles.
