Specifications include, but are not limited to: The College of Southern Nevada (CSN), Facilities Management Department is requesting bids for a turn-key project to Demo existing mailroom in C Building and convert into office. Demo 2 offices in the P Building and convert these rooms and hallway into one large room for the relocated mailroom. Building 'P' - conversion of (2) offices into (1) mail room with a total of 410 sf. The project includes: demo of (2) walls, flooring, and ceiling gyp; there will be new flooring, paint, slider window, lighting fixtures, ceiling gyp, and reconfiguration of ceiling layouts. Building 'C' - conversion of a 475 sf open mail room into two offices with (5) desks. The project includes: demo of (1) wall and door, acoustic ceiling tiles and grid, and (1) built-in receiving desk; new finishes include patch and repair as required, new act and grid; and lighting upgrades. Overall scope of work include finish upgrades, electrical and mechanical relocation, and structural relocation. Occupancy and loads will remain as existing. There will be no life safety alterations. There are no building envelope changes. 3.2.1. CSN will occupy the site during the entire period of construction. 3.2.2. Notify CSN in writing when materials which may cause odors will be used, applied, or mixed nearby or directly to the existing building during normal operating hours. 3.2.3. Cooperate with CSN to minimize conflict, and to facilitate CSN’s operations. Schedule the Work to accommodate CSN’s needs. 3.2.4. The Contractor shall provide sufficient manpower and equipment during each portion of the Work to meet the various completion deadlines.
