Specifications include, but are not limited to: The RI Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Development Disability and Hospitals is seeking to expand available Recovery Housing beds by adding LEVEL II and LEVEL III Recovery House Beds. Levels apply to a whole house, meaning that vendors may not have multiple levels of recovery housing within a single residence. The long-term goal associated with this initiative is to reduce incidents of overdose and recurrence of substance use disorder, specifically with opioid or stimulants (including methamphetamine and cocaine). The intermediate goals are to reduce use of substances among the individuals served and to increase stability in employment and living arrangement. The shortterm goal is to expand access to Level II and Level III recovery residences to support individuals in recovery from substance use disorder that are need of a supportive and structured living environment. Metrics for this contract: • # Residents discharged to a stable living arrangement • # Residents employed or with increased income at discharge • % Residents reported decreased past 30-day use of substances • % Resident placement data submitted within 2 days of the event • % Resident Wellness and Recovery plans completed on time • # Initial GPRAs completed by SOR funded residents
