Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Alaska Court System is seeking conceptual design options and cost estimates for a new facility in Bethel, Alaska. The new facility would attempt to relocate the Alaska Court System and collocate with various Executive Branch Agencies and/or local justice related agencies. Lease space is difficult to acquire in Bethel, Alaska and due to increasing lease rates and lack of available space, the Alaska Court System is seeking options to either renovate and expand in a current space or locate land in which we can build a new facility. This project will include research about site location, preliminary design and test fit options, and a preliminary budget estimate. The budget estimate should be broken into several categories to include site, full design to include construction documents, and construction. This project will include work with not only the Alaska Court System but with local justice partners in Bethel, local community leaders, and the State of Alaska Executive Branch. The selected design team will work closely with the Alaska Court System Facilities Director, Project Manager, Executive Level Staff and applicable Judicial Officers, as well as leadership from the Executive Branch Departments who are interested in collocating, and local community partners to develop space needs and requirements for the new facility.
