This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. All responsible source(s) solicited may submit a quote that shall be considered. Description: The Nevada Air National Guard has a requirement to make Virtual Reality (VR) training a reality for our Aircrew and Maintenance personnel. This purchase will improve our Spark Cell by providing high end computer processing to help solve complex problems and increase innovative ideas. This is a training device for aircrew proficiency training. This equipment will allow for virtual reality aircraft training of any crew position. Familiarization training, pre-flights, loading, rigging, EMERGENCY procedures, and other flight scenarios. This technology once acquired and set up will allow opportunities for MX, Aerial Port, CCATT, Fire Department and others across the base to gain access and train on the aircraft in a virtual environment. The brand names identified are required and justified based on the government owned software data that was developed by Mass Virtual to support only by MacBook Pro Laptops and HTC Vive Pro Virtual Reality Headsets. The 152 Mission Support Group Contracting Office, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for these commodities.
