Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this bid invitation is to establish a contract for Laboratory services that includes globally-lab integration for receiving labs who can provide services to include a phlebotomist and courier services to the State of New Hampshire Veterans Home (NHVH); The Laboratory Services vendor must have data transfer between their Laboratory Services database and the NHVH Electronic Health Records (EHR) database, which is PointClickCare, a.k.a. PCC. This will require the Laboratory Services vendor to procure the services of the third-party partner to PCC, OpenText, for the creation of the data transfer if this data transfer and relationship do not already exist. Laboratory results will be viewable in PCC. HIPAA compliance must be maintained in all systems/databases and data transfers. 1. The Bidder should be able to demonstrate that they have successfully completed these type of services for clients of the same size and magnitude for a minimum of two years. Failure to demonstrate this experience may be grounds for bid rejection. 2. Provide a variety of products to NHVH residents on an individual basis and bill their Medicare Part B or other insurance for these items, as applicable. Contractor will also bill the Department of Veterans Affairs, as applicable. 3. The Vendor shall use and disclose Protected Health Information in compliance with the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information (Privacy Rule) (45 CFR Parts 160 and 164) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. 4. Vendor will provide diagnostics’ staff and a designated Sales Representative, respectively, regarding test results and services that are available 5. Vendor will provide training for NHVH employees to assist its staff with respect to diagnostics’ services and requirements for the proper collection, preparation and transportation of specimens to the lab for testing. 6. The vendor shall sign in and out upon entering as well as wear a Contractor/Vendors ID badge, provided by NHVH. i. Vendor will need to abide by the current CDC and/or NHVH COVID/infectious diseases facility entry requirements.
