Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Kansas Department of Administration is soliciting bids for air handling units to replace existing in the tower on the eleventh (11th), thirteenth (13th) and fourteenth (14th) floors of the Eisenhower State Office Building in Topeka, Kansas. Provide modular AHUs on shrink-wrapped pallets for field assembly in the mechanical room by the installing contractor. The units shall be fully factoryassembled to test each module and component for proper fit-up prior to shipment. Manufacturers that do not factory-assemble the air handling units prior to shipment shall not be acceptable. Each unit shall be shipped with assembly instructions, and detailed instructions for the disassembly and reassembly of AHU components. 3. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the complete engineering, production, factory assembly, factory testing, packaging, and delivery of the AHUs and their related equipment. 4. Permit the Owner and Engineer to inspect as herein described and to witness performance tests to ensure good product quality and compliance with these specifications. 5. Factory test all AHUs as detailed herein and on the schedule. 6. Provide a factory-authorized service representative employed by the AHU Manufacturer to respond to any contractor questions regarding installation. 7. Start-up of the units and Owner training shall be included in the vendor’s bid as identified in the schedule. 8. Provide Owner's Manual, complete operating instructions. The Owner’s Manual shall be provided to each the Owner and the installing contractor.
