Specifications include, but are not limited to: : Provide AHUs disassembled on shrink-wrapped pallets for field assembly in the mechanical room by the installing contractor. The units shall be fully factory-assembled to test each panel and component for proper fit-up prior to shipment. Manufacturers that do not factory-assemble the custom air handling units prior to shipment shall not be acceptable. The installing contractor shall have an option to visit the factory and be trained as the unit is being put together or disassembled. All costs associated with the factory visit, if desired, shall be covered by the installing contractor. Each unit shall be shipped with a CD that contains labeled drawings, assembly instructions, and detailed pictures of the actual unit as it is being assembled. Disassembled AHU components provided to the Mechanical Contractor for field assembly as built-up AHUs shall not be acceptable.)
