Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of pouring 10 each 40’ by 20’ by 6” thick concrete pads. All materials such as rebar, rebar stands, and concrete will be provided by the Agency. The bidder will be responsible for providing all concrete forms, tools, and labor needed to install rebar, pour pads, finish surface, and saw control joints. Each pad will need to be sloped 1” running across the width of the pad. Rebar shall be placed 3” off the ground supported with rebar chairs. Rebar will be placed on 2’ centers. Rebar will start 3” inside edge of forms. Rebar will be tied. Pads will need to have a broomed finish (after initial finishing) so the pads are not slick when wet. Park Manager will be available during the days of the pour to check finish of the pads. Controls joints will be cut in 10ft squares once cured. Each pad will have a total of 100 running feet of sawn control joints. Bidder will responsible for covering concrete if freezing temperatures are anticipated during the first 72 hours of curing.
