Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Public Health (Department) is requesting quotes for infant mental health education development; The Idaho Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program supports established evidence-based home visiting (EBHV) programs throughout the state. EBHV programs require a high level of professional competency from home visitors in order to be most effective. Idaho MIECHV will support professional competency of home visitors by encouraging home visitors to participate in the Infant Mental Health Endorsement® (IMH-E®) process. This process is complicated and requires many hours of training in specific targeted competencies depending on the Endorsement category chosen. Idaho MIECHV seeks to contract with a highly experienced professional who can offer technical assistance to both the Idaho MIECHV program and home visiting staff around application logistics, training, and strategizing around collaborative efforts to join and reinforce the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) network in Idaho. Contracted services would include but not be limited to developing and facilitating an IMH-E® community of practice for home visiting supervisors and home visitors, developing any other relevant training opportunities related to endorsement and advising MIECHV program staff on IECMH network building strategies.
