Specifications include, but are not limited to: Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR) Boating Program are requesting quotes for One-Thousand Two Hundred Fifty (1,250) Coast Guard Approved (Inherently Buoyant) Type III (Performance Level 70 or Greater) Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) of varying sizes; In an effort to save lives and promote boating safety in the State of Idaho, the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation Boating Program has installed life jacket loaner stations throughout the state. These loaner stations provide life jackets (also known as PFD’s) ranging in size from infant to an adult extra-large. The life jacket loaner stations are installed adjacent to boat launch facilities, so they are easily accessible to the boating public. Quantity and Size Requirements Two Hundred Fifty (250) Infant size which is considered to be less than 30 lbs. (with back flap and crotch strap). Two Hundred Fifty (250) Child size which is considered to be 30-50 lbs. (with crotch strap). Two Hundred Fifty (250) Youth size which is considered to be 50-90 lbs. Two Hundred Fifty (250) Adult size which is considered to be universal adult. Two Hundred Fifty (250) Adult XL which is considered to be adult oversized.
