Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Souhegan River Pedestrian Trail is located in the Town of Merrimack, New Hampshire. The project includes construction of a new stone dust surfaced pedestrian trail from the existing Souhegan River Path (SRP) terminus on the northern bank of the Souhegan River, west of U.S. Route 3 to the Town of Merrimack’s existing Watson Park within the Town Center on the eastern side of U.S. Route 3. Approximately 200 LF of the trail will be constructed as an elevated concrete boardwalk within the former impoundment area of the Merrimack Village Dam (MVD). Additional work includes replacement of a severely deteriorated cantilevered sidewalk along the northern approach to the Chamberlain Bridge, and concrete beam repairs.
