Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the procurement of a wearable crisis alert system at 141 school sites and 17 district facilities. • Must have a Wearable device that enable easy and discreet emergency notification • Wearable devices do not require charging • No requirement to install a phone app to request help • Provides audio and visual notification on site wide alerts to all occupants of the campus with beacon or strobe. • For site wide alerts, generate automatic intercom announcements through existing intercom systems o Must be compatible with our Rauland analog and Rauland VoIP paging systems. • Provides room level location of an emergency • Will activate on any district site • Badge is not have to be cellular or Wi-Fi dependent however Solution may use APS Bluetooth or WiFi infrastructure (HPE/Aruba). • Cost includes maintenance and monitoring of the solution (1 year contract with an additional 7 one year extension at same cost) • No major infrastructure impacts or costs outside of what is quoted • Flexibility to use our current district protocols and to configure who gets which notifications • Ability to automatically notify 911 or local PD, and the Albuquerque Public School Police Department (APSPD) in the event of a lockdown.
