Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks services to assist IndyGo in configuring and installing the core system components of a cloud-based Transit Signal Priority (TSP) system for the Purple Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). The Purple Line began construction in February 2022 and is anticipated to begin revenue service in the Fall of 2024. The Purple Line construction will occur in tandem with TSP implementation activities. Coordination with the Purple Line construction team will be critical to successfully implementing TSP. The Purple Line BRT traverses 65 signalized intersections, 40 of which are interlined with the existing Red Line BRT, and 25 of which are exclusive to the Purple Line. These intersections are listed in Appendix A. A total of 28 buses are being procured for the Purple Line. There are also 31 buses that are used exclusively on the Red Line. The combined total of 59 buses are planned to be used interchangeably between the Purple and Red Lines, but not on any other bus routes at this time.
