Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Reno is soliciting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for qualified firms or solo practitioners (Consultant) to conduct a detailed review of existing historic resource surveys within the Reno city limits and complete a survey of downtown Reno. This shall require the Consultant to (1) identify and compile a list of completed and in-progress surveys of historic resources located within the city limits of Reno and obtain electronic copies of each survey, (2) review the surveys and identify any required updates for resources dating from the city’s prehistoric period up to 1970; (3) complete a survey for the Downtown Reno area within specific boundaries; (4) provide a summary of the downtown survey with recommendations for possible historic districts, and (5) produce a comprehensive reference catalog of completed and in-progress historic resource surveys.
