Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bidders should have a baseline understanding of the current training programs and requirements for DSWs in the State of Kansas, to establish a standard or point of reference against which future performance can be measured. This should include but not be limited to a knowledge of current training programs in use, training methods utilized, and participation/completion rates. Bidders shall propose a statewide training program to enhance the existing level of training and address any gaps in order to benefit DSW skillsets in their provision of supports to HCBS waiver recipients. Data Collection Bidder shall demonstrate how they will satisfy KDADs confidentiality requirements with Protected Health Information (PHI) and HIPAA requirements. Bidder must also be able to demonstrate compliance with the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH). The bidder shall comply with all Federal and State Laws, regulations, and the State of Kansas Administrative Code. Bidder shall provide a proposed timeline for data gathering activities included in the RFPs outlined Specifications, Deliverables and Reporting Requirements. Bidder shall demonstrate how the program will acquire and maintain adequate and accessible record keeping of DSW training completion and the long-term retention of records utilizing an internet-based database accessible to KDADs.
