Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contract 3936 on Interstate 80 (I-80) includes the installation of a truck climbing lane. This project is estimated at one hundred ten (110) working days, which includes possible weather delays. Construction is anticipated to begin in March of 2023; however, the exact construction schedule and administrative staffing needs may fluctuate throughout the project duration. Contract 3939 is a pavement rehabilitation project on I-80 east of the Carlin Tunnels. I-80, Elko County, Mile Post EL 9.50 to Mile Post EL 20.264. This project has one hundred thirty-five (135) working days and an estimated Notice to Proceed (NTP) in March of 2023. Project NHP-080-5(042) is a pavement preservation project on I-80 at the Pilot Peak Interchange, which consists of sign and striping replacement, hydraulic, structure, lighting, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements. I-80, Elko County, Mile Post EL 117.594 to Mile Post EL 132.726. This project has an estimated one hundred eighty (180) working days and an estimated Notice to Proceed (NTP) in May of 2023.
