Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Bentonville is requesting Statements of Qualifications from properly qualified, experienced and applicably licensed professional entities to provide professional construction management services, acting as an agent, to the City of Bentonville Public Works Maintenance Department, for the Bentonville Cemetery Committal Shelter and Columbarium Project. The selected firm will assist the current architectural design team with construction practices and procedures, cost estimate preparation, construction time estimates, design and construction drawings, and associated documents, as well as additional related services as required by the awarded contract. Services under this request are for pre-construction services only at this time; and may include, in accordance with Arkansas State Law and the City of Bentonville Purchasing Policy, subsequent construction phase services according to the City’s best interest. 1. Act as an advisor to the City in all phases of the project, through completion. 2. Participation in all design, coordination, and committee meetings. 3. Review of all designs for constructability. 4. Coordination and gathering of input from major subcontractors regarding constructability. 5. Input and solutions regarding schedule, phasing, and staging. 6. Review cost evaluations at each phase and step of design, taking into consideration schedule, phasing and local market conditions. 7. Consult with, advise, assist, and provide recommendations to the City or their designees, and project team on all aspects of the planning and design of the work. 8. Provide information, estimates, schemes, review project team submittals, and participate in decisions regarding construction materials, methods, systems, phasing, sustainability and costs to assist in determinations which are aimed at providing the highest quality energy efficient building, constructed using the most sustainable construction materials and practices, within the budget and schedule.
