Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Grantee(s) will oversee a Block Grant Program to accelerate statewide development, design and implementation of priority water quality enhancement projects. Funding Program Administrator(s) will be expected to: • Solicit competitive proposals for eligible water quality enhancement projects. Conduct communications and outreach to publicize competitive solicitation rounds. This includes posting solicitation round information on the Funding Program Administrator’s website and broadly distributing announcement of funding opportunities. An informational webinar or workshop during solicitation periods is strongly encouraged. • Review proposals and determine alignment with the applicable eligibility criteria in the most current CWIP Funding Policy (available here: https://dec.vermont.gov/waterinvestment/cwi/grants#policy) • Develop and apply a project prioritization schema that includes the Required Components for Project Prioritization Schema as listed in the CWIP Enhancement Grants Summary Document (available here: https://dec.vermont.gov/water-investment/cwi/grants/opportunities).
