Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Rhode Island Department of Administration's Division of Purchases, on behalf of the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide and install a new building automation system with DDC controls at the Arrigan Rehabilitation Center. 1. Demolish the existing Andover building automation system, supervisory and equipment field controllers/control panels, and space thermostats. 2. Demolish existing standalone thermostats. 3. Provide new building automation system, supervisory controller, equipment field controllers, and digital thermostats. 4. Install a new IP-based wired network throughout the building for the new controls system. Provide new control wiring from new supervisory controller to new equipment field controllers, sensors, end devices, and elsewhere as necessary to provide a complete and fully functional integrated system. Reuse existing control wiring to existing end devices if it is compatible with the new equipment. 5. Lock existing supply and exhaust fan inlet guide vanes wide open in place for AHU-1, AHU-2, and AHU-4. Demolish existing controls associated with the inlet guide vanes including actuators and pneumatics/wiring back to source. Make safe. 6. Demolish existing motors for supply and exhaust fans in AHU-1, AHU-2, and AHU-4. 7. Provide new motors and VFDs for supply and exhaust fans in AHU-1, AHU-2, and AHU-4. 8. Demolish existing 3-way control valves and actuators for heating hot water coils in all AHUs and VAVs (Add Alternate #1). 9. Provide new 2-way control valves and actuators for heating hot water coils in all AHUs and VAVs (Add Alternate #1).
