Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Idaho Military Division has requested an exemption from competition for the purchase of Cutting Edges. If approved, an exemption from competition may allow the agency to procure the property with limited or no competitive process. Exemption from competition is at the discretion of the DOP Administrator. In the interest of transparency, DOP is offering suppliers the opportunity to review this requested exemption and provide relevant information. The Idaho Military Division owns and operates a training range just south of Boise. This range spans the length of roughly 26 miles. All the roads used to get around the range are dirt or gravel. These roads experience heavy track to include civilian vehicles all the way to large tanks. IMD needs to procure cutting edges to be installed on road graders. We currently own and operate CAT and John Deere Graders. The cutting edges wear out after roughly 25 hours of work. These cutting edges are required for the machines to be functionable.
