Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Board of Education for the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools / Unified School District No. 500 is seeking proposals for LAN switch equipment: Two (2) qty Cisco C9606R-48Y24C-BN-A switches with redundant Supervisor 2 Modules Part # C9600X-SUP-2-B and C9600X-SUP-2/2, two qty. C9600-LC-24C modules and two qty. C9600-LC-48YL Modules per switch. The competing vendor should not only bid the following hardware, but any and all necessary licensing required to work properly with the existing hardware. The District has already invested in a Cisco 5520 Wireless LAN Controller, and would like to continue to leverage this investment. The following list of equipment has been chosen not only on the technical specifications of the equipment, but also for the following reasons: 1. Available technical support from the vendor 2. Ease of manageability by District IT Staff 3. Proven performance and reliability 4. Compatibility with existing hardware/software/management tools
