Specifications include, but are not limited to: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide Barb Wire Installation Services ; A. Clear and remove all overgrown vegetation that is within five (5) feet of fence line. B. Repair/replace all loose anchor posts on current fencing above block wall by cutting out rusted posts and replacing and installing new grout, on posts that are loose, but still in good condition, regrout posts. C. Furnish and install new barb arms to the current fence. Arms will be a maximum of 10' apart. At terminal points, wire will be fastened to the fence. All touch up will be done with a rust proof primer. D. Stretch Three (3) strands of 4-point barbed wire over the existing fence. Barbed wire shall also be stretched over large roll gates in the same fashion. E. Gate posts shall be extended to clear barb wire and supporting posts. F. Prepare decorative fence surface, prime using a rust proof primer and repaint fencing with similar color. G. Maintain a safe working environment to prevent injuries to CHP personnel or damage to CHP property. H. Repair any damage caused by the Contractor or any of his/her workers, at no expense to the State of California. I. Field verify any and all measurements encompassed in this project and is solely responsible for their accuracy. J. Ensure that the back-parking lot is secured at the end of each construction day to prevent intruders from entering into the facility grounds. K. Keep the work site clean and haul away any work site debris. All material removed must be recycled where possible.
