Specifications include, but are not limited to: Expansion foam material provided shall be a hydrophobic, closed cell, high density, two-part polyurethane system, such as Alchemy-Spetec AP Lift 475, or INDOT approved equal. Expansion foam material shall have negligible amounts of shrinkage in accordance with ASTM D 1042 and D 756. Expansion foam material shall have a maximum volume change of 14 to 16 times its original volume. Expansion foam material shall be certified for safe contact with drinking water according to NSF/ANSI 61-5. Expansion foam material shall consist of two components, an “A” component, and a “B” component. The material shall be supplied in 100-gallon sets, which shall consist of a 55-gallon steel drum containing 50 gallons of “A” component and a 55-gallon steel drum containing 50 gallons of “B” component.
