Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County is seeking quotes at the Corona Senior Center for HVAC; Electrical/Lighting; Bathroom upgrades and Flooring. A second phase will include additional electrical; plumbing; carpentry/painting. The work will commence in phases in the order of priority, HVAC System upgrade; Electrical for HVAC; Electrical for lighting/ceiling fans; Restroom upgrades; and Flooring. Additional work such as Carpentry; Painting; kitchen electrical or plumbing will need to be quoted separately and to be proposed in another phase. All work is subject to funding. #1 HVAC: First Priority System upgrade to efficiency heat and cool throughout the building. The current system is inadequate and provides only heat. Please provide recommendations in your estimate. Ducts to each room especially kitchen, need to be efficient. (Electrician will work with HVAC contractor, if you are not using your own sub. #2 ELECTRICAL: Electric will be done in three phases and to be quoted as such. 1. Electric for HVAC. Electrician needs to work with HVAC contractor. First/Second Priority 2. ELECTRIC LIGHTING/CEILING FANS: Third Priority a. Upgrade lighting; new fixtures throughout where necessary; and install new ceiling fans in dining area (see sample of suggested ceiling fan attached). b. Light fixtures need to be efficient and with brightest lights, LED preferred. Ballasts or something “aesthetically nicer” to accomplish our needs. 1. Entry: Replace exiting (3) can lights with a led ballast or w/ led lights. 2. Dining Area: Replace light fixtures & install new separate ceiling fans. a. Wire lights fans & light to operate off separate light switches, one for lights, one for fans. If fans have remote where they can also operate that individual fan. b.
