Specifications include, but are not limited to: New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (NMIMT), based in Socorro, in New Mexico’s Rio Grande Valley, is one of the nation's top-ranked science and engineering universities. NMIMT is a world leader in many areas of research, including hydrology, astrophysics, atmospheric physics, geophysics, homeland security, information technology, geosciences, energetic materials engineering, and petroleum recovery. Renowned for its undergraduate and graduate educational opportunities, NMIMT offers over 30 bachelors of science degrees in mathematics, the sciences, engineering, management, and technical communication, as well as graduate degrees in areas of specialization through the doctoral level. It is widely considered one of the best small technical schools in the United States for many areas of science, engineering, and computer science. NMIMT has approximately 1,650 students. NMIMT is looking to procure a new Residential Housing and Conference Management Software Platform, by acquiring an all-inone platform solution or combining multiple products, from an established product vendor. The purpose is to facilitate an improved and "best in breed" Residential Housing and Conference Management Software Platform to support NMIMT residential housing requirements. NMIMT may award more than one contract by awarding separate items or groups of items to various proposers. Awards will be made for items, or combinations of items, which results in the lowest aggregate price and/or best meet NMIMT's requirements. NMIMT will accept proposals for Residential Housing, Event Management or both. The additional administrative costs associated with awarding more than one Contract will be considered in the determination.
