Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Daily Schedule: 1. Empty wastebaskets. Empty exterior ashtray and place contents in a metal container separate from other waste material. Collect all wastepaper and trash, except that which is designated for recyclable purposes, and dispose of it away from the premises. Dispose of garbage into the dumpster which is provided by the City 2. Sweep halls and floors in the interior of the building. Tile floors are to be swept with a yarn broom or a dust mop treated with polyethylene glycol or similar non-injurious material. Vacuum all carpets. 3. Provide and maintain adequate supplies of toilet paper, paper seat covers, paper towels, deodorizers and liquid (only) soap in restrooms. These supplies are to be of standard or better quality for dispensers and are to be furnished by the CONTRACTOR except toilet paper which will be furnished by the OWNER. 4. Clean and disinfect 2nd floor kitchen and 2nd floor kitchenette facilities, sinks and counters. 5. Inspect all sidewalks and parking areas within ten feet (10') of the City Hall Building. Collect and remove all trash and other discarded materials, including cigarette butts, both on the ground and in outside ashtrays. 6. Mop or scrub restroom floors, wash all plumbing fixtures with warm soap and water. Disinfect urinals, toilets and water closets. Damp wipe all dispensers, tiled portions of toilet room walls and stall portions. 7. Replace all burned-out electrical lamps. Lamps are to be furnished by OWNER. 8. Remove spots and stains from carpets and tile. Remove all foreign matter (gum, smudges, etc.) from floors, handrails and furniture. B. Weekly Schedule: 1. Dust all visible surfaces of furniture, textures and equipment. 2. Clean and mop floor protectors in all offices/cubicles. 3. Damp mop all waxed floors and machine buff to remove traffic marks and restore luster of wax. 4. Remove all finger marks and smudges from walls, woodwork, glass surfaces and elevator doors and walls. 5. Sweep and hose down sidewalks, entrances and steps within ten (10') feet of building. Pick up and remove debris; do not flush down drains. 6. Clean all glass surfaces such as entry doors, entry glass and showcases. C. Monthly Schedule: 1. Vacuum fabric furniture. 2. Wash walls in public halls and stairwells where wall covering permits. Wash pipes and rails in stairwells. 3. Shampoo carpets in high-traffic areas, including entry rugs.
