Specifications include, but are not limited to: Douglas County Project 2022-35 consists of removing an existing 2-12’x12’x57.5’ RFB and constructing a 36’-48’-36’ Reinforced Concrete Haunched Slab (RCHS) Bridge on spread footing piers. Items include Contractor Staking, Clearing & Grubbing, Fence Removal, Grading, Contractor Furnished Excavation, Entrance Pipe, Steel Piling, Resteel, Concrete, Concrete Pavement (10”), Guardrail, Aggregate Ditch Lining, Rip Rap, Aggregate Base (AB-3), Surfacing Material (AB3), HMA-Commercial Grade (Class A) for guardrail widening, HMA Base (SR12.5), HMA Surfacing (SR-12.5), Seeding, and Traffic Control. Project 2022-35 is located on Route 1029 (E550 Road) between N500 and N600 Roads approximately 20 miles southwest of Lawrence, KS.
