Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Little Rock, Arkansas (“City”), through its Department of Parks and Recreation, seeks qualified responses to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for an organization to enter into a cooperative agreement with the City to develop an outdoor recreational rental and service provider within River Mountain park at the end of River Mountain Road on south banks of Little Maumelle River near the existing boat launch. Outcomes Desired a) To expand and grow recreation opportunities involving outdoor water activities by providing rentals, tours, and programs involving kayaks, paddle boarding, and other similar devices. b) To expand and grow recreation opportunities involving outdoor trail activities by providing rentals, tours, and programs involving road bikes, comfort bikes, mountain bikes, E-Bikes, and other similar devices. c) To instruct all participants about the techniques and skills that will provide a safe and fun environment for outdoor recreation in all activities. d) To provide tours of existing and future outdoor recreational amenities in the City of Little Rock and area. e) To provide discounts and/or specials rates for the current members of LRPR, community centers, friends program.
