Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected contractor (1) will update existing Regional / Multi-jurisdictional Mitigation Plans to meet FEMA hazard mitigation planning requirements as outlined in the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 and 44 CFR 201.6. a. Specifically, the contractor will address the following plan contents and respective required elements as required: • Introduction • Planning Process • Risk Assessment • Mitigation Strategy • Plan maintenance • Climate change b. Provide critical, analytical thinking and research skills to execute the development of required content. c. Take project and plans revision direction from the KDEM Planning and Mitigation Branch Director and/or the Hazard Mitigation Planner.
