Specifications include, but are not limited to: Otero County is seeking proposals for the installation of a complete solar electric power system for the Tularosa Basin Historical Museum at 1004 N. White Sands Blvd., Alamogordo, NM 88310. The County of Otero is requesting proposals for the installation of a complete solar electric power system for the above service location. The proposal will be a design/build submittal for consideration. Preferred Modules are the traditional crystalline, however, alternate modules will be considered. Module manufacturers must show a minimum of 25 years successful power generation from their product histories. Otero County expects a proven, established technology with a successful history and performance record. Project should incorporate a system capable of producing the maximum power with given solar availability. The location of the installation is at 1004 N. White Sands Blvd., Alamogordo, NM. The County of Otero owns the building. The current occupant is the Tularosa Basin Historical Society. The facility is an operating museum of history. The facility main power requirements are five each 5-ton HVAC units, interior lighting, exterior lighting and general power usage for office and kitchen equipment. The facility has two active service meters with PNM. The one meter is for the area known as the Book Store & Gift Shop. The other meter is for the balance of the building where the museum and research/storage areas are located.
