Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pine bark mulch shall be shredded soft wood bark from pine, hemlock and fir trees and shall be more than 6 months and less than 18 months in age. | Mulch shall be dark brown color. The length of chip shall not exceed 3" or be less than 1/4" in width or thickness. Mulch shall be uniform | in texture and color. Sawdust cannot exceed 10% of the load. Recycled wood waste, yard waste, demolition debris, hardwood bark, leaves, twigs, weeds, | stones, wood shavings or other foreign materials injurious to plant growth are unacceptable and the entire load will be rejected. | Mulch must be capable of passing through 4" diameter blower hoses without clogging lines or equipment.
