Specifications include, but are not limited to: This contract is for property maintenance at Ottawa State Fishing Lake to include mowing, trimming, restroom cleaning, and litter control. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to maintain restrooms in a clean and orderly fashion. Toilet Paper is provided by KDWP. Restroom cleaning shall be conducted once weekly during March, April, August and September and twice weekly in May, June, and July. During May, June and July, cleaning days will be split between Thursday or Friday and Monday or Tuesday. Restrooms must be cleaned immediately before and after the Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day holiday weekends. Restroom floors shall be swept and mopped, or power washed. Toilet seats, risers, and lids and urinals shall be scrubbed and or power washed with a soap solution or disinfectant. Restroom walls shall be cleaned with a soap solution during the first cleaning of each month and as needed to remove dirt, graffiti, insect nests, etc. This amounts to 40 cleanings per year for each restroom. Mowing and Trimming: The contractor shall be responsible for mowing and trimming area grounds and removing litter in these areas. Mowing shall be conducted by a lawn type mower (not a tractor mounted agricultural mower) with the cutting height not to exceed 3 inches. Mowing shall be conducted in area previously mowed including parking areas, shorelines, fishing piers and boat ramps, around restrooms, and within picnic and camping areas. In addition, trimming shall be required around area signs, restrooms, solar lights, buildings, fishing piers, gates, boat ramps, sidewalks, and trees within picnic and camping areas. Trimming along shorelines in a priority to maintain angler access. Mowing and trimming shall be conducted during weekdays from April through September. It is anticipated that area will need mowed 2-3 times per month depending on rain. All areas must be mowed/trimmed within 3 days prior to the Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th weekend, and Labor Day weekend.
