Amendment 0001 administratively corrects Block 10 “NAICS 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors; Size Standard $16,500,000.00” to NAICS 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction; Size Standard $39,500,000.00.
Amendment 0001 provides new Appendix A – Limited and Directed Asbestos Survey and Lead-In-Paint Analysis, dated 11 May 2021, to the Specification.

The proposed renovation is to update bathroom area making it more functional for use, including accessibility and new plastic lockers and benches.
Scope of work includes:
- Removal of existing lockers
- Removal of existing benches
- Removal of ceiling grid and lights
- Removal of Modesty partitions for water closets and urinals
- Removal of shower in Women’s bathroom (CMU block walls and plumbing associated)
- Removal of toilet to make room for an ADA size water closet (associated plumbing to be removed or capped off in existing plumbing chase).
- Existing sinks in Women’s bathroom to be removed (utilize existing plumbing for new water closet to be installed).
- Existing tiles to remain. Tiles to be cleaned, buffed and sealed with clear sealant.
- Existing locker room stands in Women’s bathroom to be removed and replaced with tile similar to existing tile.
- Walls are to be painted with the colors approved by the Government
- New “Z” style plastic lockers to be installed (30 total).
- New plastic benches to be installed in Men’s and Women’s bathroom.
- New circular style sink to be installed, approx.. 54” diameter. Use existing plumbing for connections. Originally was set-up for the circular wash station when building was constructed. Contractor will field verify all connections prior to work starting.
- New 2’x2’ ceiling grid and tiles to be installed.
- New 2’x2’ LED lights to be installed using existing circuits.
