Specifications include, but are not limited to: Construction/Configuration: • Body shall be a minimum of 8’ in length and 86” in width, 3CY water level capacity, full depth corner posts, minimum or two (2) side braces, minimum 10 gauge abrasion resistant steel sides, floor and tailgate. • All welds in the body construction are to be continuous welds, except cross members are to be manufacturer’s standard weld. • Clearance lights shall be installed. • NO license plate/ brake/directional/reverse light/flashing amber light holes in rear apron, full depth rear corner posts, or headboard. DOT will complete upfit. • A minimum 22” cab protector is required. • A Pioneer EDD1000 Load Cover with heavy duty mesh tarp shall be installed. • Tarp shall be electronically controlled for deployment and retraction • Tarp arms and springs shall be installed • Tarp arm supports shall be installed on rear of body • Tailgate chains shall have mesh chain guards installed • Color of body shall be painted to match cab- All products to be lead free • ½” pintle plate shall be installed with multi hook 2” ball, D-rings and a Curt 55415 7-way waterproof RV style electrical plug. • Material Safety Data Sheets for ALL construction and coating materials used in both the construction and finishing of all equipment furnished.
