Specifications include, but are not limited to: This specification covers the State of New Hampshire’s requirements for a Heavy Duty galvanized enclosed service body. Body shall be mounted by successful bidder on: 2023 Ford F450 Extended Cab, 60” CA. The chassis will be picked up at the State DOT Mechanical Services Garage by the vendor and returned when installation is completed. Construction/Configuration: • Body to be constructed of galvanized (or “Galvanneal”) sheet steel and primed with iron oxide or zinc chromate primer. • Exterior and interior of compartments shall be painted to match cab. • Compartment layout shall be like Readings AB set-up • 72” inside head clearance tapered panel top to be installed. • Compartment depth shall be minimum 20” with adjustable trays. • Plated chain or cable supports required on all horizontal doors. • Wind door stops in be installed on all vertical doors. Chain with springs or gas struts are acceptable. • Two (2) horizontal doors, one (1) on each side of the rear of body to access the shelves within the high top shall be included- no plated chains are to be installed on these doors. • All compartment door hinges shall have stainless steel hinge brackets and bushing inserts. • All compartment doors including rear doors shall be equipped with keyed alike locks, adjustable striker plates and 2-stage safety catches.
