Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the lining project is to eliminate root intrusion and future blockages, reduce infiltration and extend the useful life of the existing 8”, 10”, 12”, 15”, 18” & 24” vitrified clay and cement pipe. Work to be performed (including, but not limited to); a) Install 4’ diameter sanitary sewer manhole at 4” service connection for #44 South Fruit Street and 12” outlet in side yard of same, plug and abandon 12” VC to east, and fill/abandon in place unused 12” VC and SMH 3982. b) All internal debris will be removed from the original pipeline and disposed of properly. c) Inspection of the pipeline to confirm suitability for lining and document service connections to be reinstated. d) Point repair excavation to remove any obstructions, if necessary. e) Line 5474 LF of 8”, 10”, 12”, 15”, 18” & 24” of vitrified clay and cement pipe. • ADD. ALT. #1 Clean, televise and line 409 LF of 8” asbestos cement pipe (SMH 3113- 3109 Gulf St). f) Reinstate service connections to satisfaction of City Representative and re-inspect for final acceptance.
