Specifications include, but are not limited to: Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront (BPRW) is requesting proposals from qualified professional engineering (RE) consultants to provide oversight and inspection services for the Leddy Pause Place and Bioretention Basin Project. Selected resident engineering company to provide constructability review of final bid package and consulting support during the bid process. The selected RE will be expected to collaborate with BPRW and selected contractor(s) to sequence work for maximum efficiency and minimal footprint and provide oversight for this project from construction contractor selection to substantial completion and will be expected to coordinate with City staff, the City’s project design consultants and stormwater permitting consultants [VHB, Inc.] and the selected construction contractor ; The project includes coordinating timing and detours with activities at the Ice Arena and with the Greenway. The selected RE must provide close attention to details, be collaborative in identifying and solving any conflicts between the design and any real-time site conditions, and balance budget, quality and schedule.
