Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Vermont’s Agency of Education (AOE) Student Support Services (SSS) division is seeking a vendor to provide the professional development (PD) activities including training, coaching, and technical assistance necessary to use the Vermont Multi-tiered System of Supports (VTmtss) and Early Multi-tiered System of Supports (Early MTSS) frameworks to implement Pyramid Model Practices, to improve the following elements of a system of instruction, early intervention, and assessment: 1. To build the capacity of Children’s Integrated Services (CIS)/Early Intervention (EI) services that support infants and toddlers. 2. To promote social and emotional growth and development of infants and toddlers. 3. To better inform and engage families to support infant and toddler overall development, functioning, and social and emotional skills. 1. Professional Development for all participants of each of the three cohorts of CIS and CIS/EI personnel. Throughout the first two years of participation, each cohort will receive, at minimum, the following: a. Pyramid Model Infant/Toddler module trainings b. Pyramid Model Practices in Part C c. Pyramid Model Data-Based Decision-Making Training d. Positive Solutions for Families or Parents Interacting w/Infants training 2. Professional development for Practice-Based Coaches in each of the 3 cohorts. Practicebased coaching PD will be provided throughout the 3 years of participation for each cohort, practice-based coaches will receive all of #1 (a-d) above as well as, at minimum, the following: a. Practice-Based Coaches Training b. Early Interventionist Pyramid Practices Fidelity Instrument (EIPPFI) c. Teaching Pyramid Model Infant Toddler Observation Scale (TPITOS) training d. Early MTSS System Coaching
