Sealant shall be supplied in solid block form which is easily melted. When properly applied it will form a long lasting resilient seal which is flexible and extendable at sub-zero (ºF) temperatures and which resists tracking during hot summer temperatures. yes no 4. The sealant shall have a high viscosity for improved application and handling characteristics when sealing cracks in asphalt concrete. The sealant should be designed to be applied using pressure type feed melter applicator units in both Asphalt and Portland cement concrete applications. yes no 5. Blocks shall be approximately thirty (30) lbs. with some manufacturing tolerance allowable. The maximum weight should not exceed forty (40) lbs. per block. Blocks shall be delivered palletized and shrink-wrapped.
