Specifications include, but are not limited to: Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro) is requesting bids from qualified contractors to construct concrete pads and install conduits and low voltage conductors at our Ryan Administration Building location at 201 N. Kansas Avenue in Topeka, KS. This project is in preparation for some electrical work to be conducted by Evergy. Evergy will need to approve the concrete pad location sites, the condition and dimensions of the concrete pads, and the conduit opening conditions and dimensions . This is a single-job contract. • acquire all necessary licenses, certifications, and permits, and payment of fees for same; • make arrangements for modifications to electrical connections to buildings as required; • provide all labor and materials required for a complete and functioning electrical power system including the associated equipment and apparatus; • use no conduit smaller than 1/2” and no conductor smaller than #12 GA unless noted; • provide bollards as required around equipment; • remove existing concrete and trees if necessary and construct new pads; • provide the original PDF file of the site plan when applying for City permits; • provide a traffic control plan to the City of Topeka in conformance with city standards; • furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary for satisfactory contract performance; • provide a one-year warranty from the date of Substantial Completion; • provide all labor and materials; • hire all subcontractors and ensure their compliance with contractual requirements; and, • ensure that the completed site is clean, any site damages repaired (i.e. sprinklers, sidewalks) to the property owner’s satisfaction, and ready for use upon completion.
