Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this program is to provide a safe, convenient, and effective collection and disposal method for household hazardous waste (HHW), and to provide for orphaned wastes, in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The contractor shall provide the required services for management of the program to include recycling, reuse, collection, analysis, packaging, transportation, and disposal of household hazardous waste collected during an event, and orphaned waste on a call-out basis. It is anticipated that the County will host seven (7) to fifteen (15) collection events per year with approximately fifteen (15) to seventy (70) participants per event and will utilize call-out services approximately 12 time per year.
