All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to contract for biological screening and DNA analysis services on evidence from casework submitted to the DNA section of the APD (“APD DNA Unit”). Casework evidence may consist of specimens collected related to crimes against persons and/or specimens collected related to property crimes. These specimens may consist of swabbings collected directly from evidentiary items and known DNA reference standards or cuttings from or whole evidentiary items themselves. Submitted evidence (swabbings, cuttings or whole items) will require screening for the presence of biological fluids and DNA analysis where appropriate, unless otherwise directed by APD DNA Unit.
