NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: TrackCore Operating Room Tissue and Transplant Tracking Software, and Equipment, Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 01, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 1 (New England), 623 Atwells Avenue, Uncas Bldg., Providence, RI 02909, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source brand name basis, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1) establishing a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with LPIT Solutions Inc., 25 Commerce Avenue, SE, Suite 200, Grand Rapids, MI 495034-4199, for the purchase of equipment and software that will efficiently and accurately track all biological and non-biological implantable items. This will include all software, licensing, training, hardware peripheral devices and supplies used to manage the par levels of inventory, reorder at appropriate times and monitor usage of products. Additionally, this solution shall include labor, materials, transportation, equipment, design, configuration, and training as detailed below, in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The software must be compatible with CERNER record keeping system. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement within 3 calendar days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
